There’s sugar, spice and everything nice, and then there’s Kimberly Spicer. Brown-haired, brown-eyed and all natural, she’s the very definition of the girl next door, and credits Mexican roots for her sweet-and-spicy personality. “Take a mother from Mexico, a father from Tennessee, stir in strong opinions and a passion for dancing,” she says. “Those are the ingredients in a Kimberly Spicer!” Working the night shift at Hooters, Kimberly leveraged her win at the Hawaiian Tropic swimsuit competition and landed an audition with Playboy. “Cindy Crawford is the reason I became a model,” she says. “The first time I saw her, I thought, I want to do everything she does – including posing for Playboy.” Kimberly became our Miss June 1999 at just nineteen, and had the distinction of being the first Playmate to be born in the 80’s. She may be young, but Miss Spicer has a good head on her shoulders, and firmly believes in love and family values. “I appreciate everything I have, especially my friends and family,” she says. “Without them, I wouldn’t be here today.” Even when choosing the right guy, Jennifer takes her family’s opinion into consideration. “A great guy treats his mother with respect,” she advises. “If he’s good to his mom, he’ll be good to his girl. My motto is to treat others the way you want to be treated.”
