Say olá to Sasckya Porto, Brazilian supermodel and Miss December 2007. She’s tall – 5’10” in bare feet – and the hottest thing this side of the equator, with long, dark hair, brown eyes and an intriguing Portuguese accent. She’s from Recife, in the east Brazilian state of Pernambuco. “I had a great childhood,” she says. “I played sports, and I studied ballet and quadrilha, a traditional Brazilian dance.” She entered her first beauty contest at fifteen, and at seventeen she moved to the States, where she was named Miss Brazil USA. “Just like that, I became a model,” she says. “I studied marketing at Boston University, but I left school when my modeling career led me to New York City.” Sasckya impressed us when she came in for a casting – she was so eager to please that she undressed in the waiting room. Needless to say, we tested her for Playmate – and even more needless to say, she made the Centerfold. “Playboy was a natural choice for me,” she says. “I’m Brazilian, so I’m not ashamed of my body. And it’s very well-respected. I wouldn’t take my clothes off for any other magazine.” These days, Sasckya is a successful fashion and lingerie model, and she lives in New York City with her husband. “I’ve been modeling for fifteen years,” she says, “so I think it’s time for me to try acting.” Whatever she does, we’re sure she’ll do it well.
