Kaya Christian is no stranger to the world of competition being a champion diver and swimmer. “I was a diving champ at age 11 and set the Georgia record for my age in backstroke at age 12,” states the blue-eyed blonde, proudly. Although she no longer competes, Kaya finds solace in the pool and takes a plunge whenever she can. Perfecting her swan dive for her own enjoyment at the McCambridge Park Swimming Pool in Burbank, the beautiful blonde displays her stunning busty form in her bikini before leaping from the diving board. When I'm submerged,” says Kaya who recently earned her scuba diving license, “I let myself go—no cares, no anxieties; the Pacific is like a second home to me.” Our mermaid-like Miss November 1967 currently pays for her aquatic activities by being a quality-control technician in a photo-lab, but she says her position is only temporary. “My ambition is to become an actress,” admits our all-natural Playmate of the Month. “I admire people like Ernest Hemingway, John F. Kennedy and Winston Churchill. They had a purpose in life and recognized it. I hope to discover mine soon enough.” As she searches for the meaning of life in the pool and at the beach, Kaya also eager to find the love of her life, even though her religious educator father insists she practice some patience and let it just come to her. “Whoever the man is, he’s going to be very ambitious, well real and well-traveled, a connoisseur of foods and wines and extremely sports-minded,” explains our Miss November 1967 from Beverly Hills. “On top of that, he’s got to be mature and have a sharp sense of humor. It may sound like an awful lot to ask—but I’m sure that I have a lot to offer, too.” And when that man finally meets lovely Kaya, he’s going to have his hands full and his schedule preoccupied for days to come. “My ideal evening includes dinner at Scandia, night cruise to Catalina and greeting the milkman in the morning,” she says with a wink. Sounds like the date of everyone’s dreams.
