Playmate Carrie Stevens steps right out of a fairy tale and into our hearts. A blue-eyed brunette with truly epic 34D proportions, Carrie’s story begins in Buffalo, where she was born to a research scientist and a free-spirited painter. When her parents divorced, Carrie was ferried to Memphis, Tennessee, where she toured Graceland, visited the Grand Ole Opry and dreamed of being on the road with her favorite bands. “It all started when I was a groupie,” says Carrie, who met and fell for Eric Carr, the drummer for Kiss, in 1987. When Carr died in 1991, Carrie picked herself up, packed her bags and took off for California, where she was discovered in the waiting room of a Hollywood dentist’s office. “It was time to take the next step,” she explains, and after roles on Days of Our Lives, Weird Science and Playboy TV’s Jane Street, the next step was a spread in Playboy Magazine. “Here I am, Miss June 1997,” she says. “This is new to me, but I’m glad I’m doing this now instead of when I was eighteen!” When not auditioning for roles, Carrie is something of an entrepreneur – she founded an organic fashion magazine, and sells her family’s famous fudge online. She doesn’t do stress, and uses meditation and spiritual ‘rebirthing’ techniques to stay centered. “I want to live in love, enjoy every day and stay humble,” says Carrie. “I’m here to fulfill my spiritual purpose!” Amen to that, Miss Stevens.
