To put it lightly, Heidi Montag is a television personality. Born and raised in Crested Butte, a small town in northern Colorado, Heidi didn’t plan on fame or fortune. But as a villainess on MTV’s The Hills, her future was set in stone – not to mention a white gold wedding band. Enrolled at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, Heidi made friends with a fellow student, Lauren Conrad, who just so happened to be a cast member on MTV’s Laguna Beach. Heidi was filmed for the second season, and when Lauren got a new show, The Hills, ‘Heidi’ was listed as a main cast member. In the second season, she started dating Spencer Pratt, and the rest, as they say, is reality TV history. Breakups, makeups and several fashion internships later, Heidi and Spencer were married, and from there, she nipped and tucked her way to the top of American pop culture. The poster girl for plastic surgery, Heidi was recipient of a rumored ten procedures in one day, including an eye-popping breast enhancement – when she was ‘shopping for her boobs’, Heidi told us that she used a Playboy magazine as a reference. With appearances on I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, Celebrity Big Brother and How I Met Your Mother, a role in Just Go With It, and a studio album, Superficial, one thing is for sure – Heidi Montag is here to stay, and if she has anything to say about it, she’ll stay firmly in the spotlight.
