Lori Winston cannot sit still for even a mere moment so living in Pasadena, CA has been ideal for the active redhead. “I love shooting, swimming, water skiing, snow skiing, volleyball and nudism. I love everything outdoorsy, especially sailing. In fact, I'm saving up to buy a Tahiti ketch—and spend the rest of my life cruising to the world's most exotic ports of call,” explains the all-natural California girl. “On Sundays, if I’m not out water skiing or sailing, I may phone the girls in the apartment above mine and ask them down for a late brunch.” A busty girl who’s never said no to cheesy potatoes and a good steak, petite Lori says anyone after her heart should always go through her stomach—something her good friends know to be true. “Sometimes we’ll have our current dates over and stuff them with Mexican goodies or complicated triple-decker sandwiches. Every once in a while, I throw a slumber party—it gives us girls the chance to talk about Topic A: the men we’re dating, and the ones we’d like to date,” says our red-haired Playmate of the Month. “When I’m alone, and just relaxing, I try to solve an impossible problem: how to do all the things I want to do, like sailing around the world, and still not miss all the fun that goes on right here. I fall asleep trying to figure it out—but when I wake up there’s too much happening to give it any further thought.” The daughter of a fire department captain in Los Angeles, our Miss June 1964 is never without a goal to accomplish which shouldn’t be surprising since she is the descent of another ambitious American. “One of my ancestors, William Blount, he signed the U.S. Constitution,” giggles Lori. “I’ve always been a daydreamer. At work, when I’m not typing letters and filing, I might be daydreaming about one of my current projects, like redecorating my apartment. Then, at time, while my girlfriend and I take turns trying new hairstyles on each other, we get to talking about places like Long Beach, where I’d spend every weekend if I could, sailing, water skiing, snorkeling or just plain swimming—I’m always the first one in the water and the last one out. I’ve lived in Los Angeles all my life, and by now the Pacific is part of my blood.” California girls like Playmate Lori Wilson will always know how to make you weak in the knees.
