Stella Dauphine is a green-eyed beauty from Connecticut, who is a long way from home. “Drinking and partying at Tulane happens wherever, whenever and however you want. I go to Bourbon Street and party, I sit at the levee with daiquiris, I listen to jazz at a club or go to the frat houses,” says Stella, an international development major at Tulane University. “I go wherever something is happening, and on most nights you can find something. New Orleans and Tulane are never boring.” For the all-natural brunette, deciding to study in New Orleans was easy—she loves the party vibe and she’s always up for a good, home cooked spicy meal. “I love food. Mexican is my favorite,” says our freckled Coed of the Month for September 2007. “Being in a new place surrounded by unfamiliar people and customs can teach you so much about yourself and others.” New Orleans residents are lucky to have a beauty like Stella as their neighbor.
