Playmate Unne Terjesen is a woman whose beauty is world renowned, from her native Norway to her new home country of Canada. “I love being a Playmate because it’s very exciting—all my friends in Norway have seen my photo in Playboy!” says the all-natural European. “I was a contestant in the Miss Norway competition in 1960.” Growing up in Odda, Norway, the voluptuous Scandinavian developed a passion for art and a need for speed. When she isn’t painting or listening to her favorite tunes from Frank Sinatra, our Nordic Miss July 1962 is usually zipping around in the Canadian countryside on her brother’s Harley-Davidson motorcycle and when she isn’t on dry land, Unne is sailing around her home on Vancouver Island with her family. “I love to ski, rid motorcycles and sports cars, go ice skating and sculpting. I also love to swim and practice gymnastics,” says our blue-eyed Playmate of the Month. “Back home in Norway, I was a hairstylist and in Canada, I’m a sales clerk. Right now, I have three ambitions—to become a successful model, to own a shiny new black Mercedes-Benz convertible, and to travel, especially to see the skyline of New York.” Now that Unne Terjesen has become our Miss July 1962, she’s closer to achieving her dreams than ever before.
