Forget the sum of all fears – the sum of man’s desires is our Miss April 1995, Danelle Folta. Brown-haired, brown-eyed and all natural, she’s an international model with a love of good novels; but rather than the above-referenced Tom Clancy, her favorite authors are horror peddlers Stephen King and Clive Barker. “I look forward to sleeping, because my dreams are so scary,” admits Danelle. “I love to be scared!” When she’s not staying up late with a thriller, Danelle travels the world as a model, and has worked all over America, Europe and Asia. Raised as the youngest of six children in Dyer, Indiana, Miss Folta retains a certain small-town charm, despite all of her worldly adventures. “My dreams help me get in touch with my desires, too,” says Danelle. “I have my share of sexual dreams, and they’re great!” Speaking of sex, Danelle is so busy that she barely has time to date, but loves a man who makes her feel like a woman – and she means the type of woman who does it all. “If I had more time, I’d read, learn languages, work out longer and volunteer more,” she says. “I’m more than a pretty face.” Most recently, Danelle channeled her energies into Playboy’s X-Treme Team, a roving band of Playmates named the sexiest team in sports by ESPN Magazine. On a trip to Borneo for the reality show Eco-Challenge, Danelle contracted a bacterial infection and nearly lost a leg to amputation, but with a course of antibiotics and a skin graft, she recovered fully- even beautifully. These days, you can catch Danelle around Los Angeles, where she lives, works and puts in appearances at Glamourcon events. “My ambition is to stay passionate, loving and caring,” says Danelle. “My philosophy is to laugh, and when you’ve laughed enough, laugh some more!”
