Danielle Fornarelli has been a ruthless businesswoman since she was in her early 20s. Many would be surprised to hear that the voluptuous, dark-haired entrepreneur owned several pizzerias in Chicago at a young age. “When I was 21, I owned nine restaurants,” says brown-eyed Danielle. “We offered pizza by the slice. Most places in Chicago don’t do that. It’s more affordable for college students to pick up a few slices rather than spring for a whole pie.” Miss Fornarelli has always considered herself a smart and strategic woman –qualities that have come in handy at work and during playtime. Poker players are always surprised when they first see Danielle in her heels and tight dress at a Texas Hold’em tournament. “I throw people off when I show up because it is a man-based game,” says Danielle. “I’m an unstoppable force.” That is an understatement. Our Cybergirl of the Week for February 23, 2009 was recently chosen to be the face of the 2010 Nike World Cup advertisements. We see no slowing down in our CGOW’s future and we couldn’t be happier about that.
