To say the least, Karlie Redd is kind of a big deal. Born in New York City, this mover and shaker has a lot on her plate—she’s a hip-hop artist, model, actress and reality TV star. You may know her from VH1’s Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta, where she reigns among the likes of Mimi Faust, Tammy Rivera and current boyfriend Lyfe Jennings. “I was born in New York, and I studied theater, filmmaking, sound and production,” says Karlie. “I’ve been in the entertainment industry for a while now. I keep pursuing my dreams, in front of the camera and behind it.” With Playboy Plus, Karlie’s checking a long-awaited item off her bucket list, and she’s more than ready to shake things up. “Love & Hip-Hop has given me the platform I have today,” she says. “I’m so happy to be here right now! I’m happy to be a part of the Playboy family—it’s something all the greats have done. I mean, Naomi Campbell, Kim Kardashian—I could keep going!” With her reality series renewed for a fifth season, Karlie’s not taking a break anytime soon.
