A former Army brat, she’s lived all over the United States, finally settling in California to pursue her dreams as a model. “All my life, I’ve been searching for something bigger than myself,” says Carmen in a soft voice. “I’ve always been obsessed with art and beauty, and it wasn’t until recently that I realized I was a creative person. Giving up everything from my old life gave me the confidence to pursue what I really want.” One of the things Carmen wanted was to model, and she didn’t let the fact that she’d never done it before stand in her way. “I have no experience, besides photos and videos I’ve shot myself,” she admits. “I was really nervous at first, but I had so much fun that now I think I could do it every day. I’ve always loved Playboy, and it’s been my dream to work with this company for a long time.” Currently single, Carmen is holding out for someone very, very special—be it a man or a woman, her next partner has to connect with her mentally and physically, and be able to make her laugh. “I think it’s important to have fun,” she says earnestly. “I hate it when sex feels like a serious thing.
