Sweet, sexy and cheeky are just some of the ways photographer Cassandra Keyes would describe modest Marlee May, but you’ll never hear her call herself anything more than a typical Aussie. “I’m a Down Under Aussie Sheila,” says the blue-eyed brunette in her exotic accent. “Here’s some Aussie slang for Playboy fans who have probably never heard of Aussie lingo until now. We’ll say ‘she’s an Aussie Sheila’ which means she’s an Aussie girl and we do not say ‘put a shrimp on the barbie!’ We call them prawns here so I don’t know where that came from. We also don’t ride kangaroos and we don’t keep them as pets.” Sharing her Down Under knowledge and all-natural physique, Marlee from Newcastle is a wholesome sweetheart who had never even considered posing nude before a friend submitted photos on her behalf to Playboy Plus. Once those photos may their way to our casting director, it was unanimous—Marlee was contacted for a photoshoot faster than you can say g’day. “This was my first time posing nude, but that being said, I was pretty comfortable doing it. It was exciting and it was very different. It’s nice to push your boundaries,” says the international beauty with a big grin on her face. “I’m here representing Australia for Playboy. This is a very proud moment so I feel very honored and privileged.” The pleasure is all ours, Marlee May.
