Miss October 1987 is no stranger to the world of glitz and glam and rock ‘n’ roll. Brandi Brandt is the buxom daughter of the singer and percussionist for the rock band, American Girls. “My role model is Brie Howard, my mom. She works very hard at her career and gives great advice,” admits our Playmate of the Month. “I first saw her play when I was one. When I was a baby, I slept on her bass drum. When I was two, she took me to an Alice Cooper concert. Alice pulling a lady out of a trunk is one of my earliest memories.” It’s quite evident that dark-haired Brandi’s childhood wasn’t like most children’s, so it should come as no surprise that her ambitious spirit is unlike no other. “I want serious success. I want to act,” says our eager Playmate, who appeared in an episode of Married… With Children. “Being Miss October is a thrill. I feel so sexy. But, I hope it's just the first thrill. I have a small part in a new movie, Boy Rents Girl, and I think I have a lot of thrills ahead of me.” However, no matter how much the busty Filipino-German-Irish-Cherokee focuses on an acting career, music always seems to find her. Miss Brandt played the gorgeous babe in Aerosmith’s music video for their song, Love in an Elevator and was previously married to Nikki Sixx, bassist of Mötley Crüe. “I’m New Wave in the way I dress and the music I like, but old fashioned when it comes to men,” says Brandi. “I like a man who pampers me.” Pampering a Playmate may seem like a daunting task, but this is one area where Brandi doesn’t need any glitz or glam –all she needs is a credit card. “I could never be a guy. I mean, guys hate shopping!” explains Brandi. “I don’t like doing my hair and my makeup, but shopping is important—guys just don’t understand that.” We understand you, Miss October.
