You might say that Donna D’Errico has blonde ambition. All-natural Donna was born in Alabama and raised in Columbus, Georgia, where she was a devoted student at her local Catholic school. “I grew up really sheltered,” she admits. “As a teenager I always felt like an ugly duckling. Now I’m a swan!” Leaving her plaid skirts and saddle shoes behind, Donna moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where she drove a limousine before making her big break as a Playmate. As our Miss September 1995, Donna won the attention of NBC producers and earned a place in the sun on Baywatch. Needless to say, she’s upgraded to passenger, not driver, of the limousine. “I’ve wanted to be an actress ever since I was a little girl,” she says. “In elementary school, I played the Virgin Mary in a Nativity play.” After her stint as Miss September, Donna married Mötley Crüe member Nikki Sixx, and though they eventually divorced, she turned to her Catholic roots for inspiration. After a successful crowdfunding campaign in 2012, Donna climbed Mount Ararat in Turkey in search of the remains of Noah’s Ark. We’d expect nothing less of Miss D’Errico, who on her original Playmate Data Sheet listed ‘world travel’ as her number-one ambition. “Don’t dwell on your mistakes,” advises Donna. “Learn from them. Set goals, but don’t let them control your life. And always tip your limo driver!” Duly noted, Miss D’Errico.
