Say hallo – or ciao, if you prefer – to Guiliana Marino, our Miss April 2007. She’s all natural, with dark hair, green eyes and legs best dressed in a pair of heels. Giuliana was Playmate of the Year 2006 in the German edition of Playboy – Hef met her on a trip to Munich, and was so taken with her that he brought her home as a souvenir. A signed contract and a transatlantic flight later, she was an American Playmate – and on the cover of the October 2007 issue of Playboy, too. “Being a Playmate in America is a lot different than it is in Germany,” she says. “It’s the best thing that ever happened to me.” If her name didn’t tip you off, Giuliana is Italian. “Both of my parents are Italian, but I grew up in Nuremberg, Germany,” she says. “At home, we speak Italian, and we eat real Italian food.” Inspired by her uncle, a police officer in Rome, Giuliana wants to study criminal justice at a German police academy. “After that, I want to be a criminal profiler,” she says. For now, she’s enjoying her time as a Playmate – and whether or not she pursues a career in law enforcement, she'll always be our Miss April 2007, and we hope that these pictorials and videos do her justice.
