Lonny Chin

Ive learned a lot about people since Ive been in LA, says Lonny Chin, our Playmate of the Month from Liverpool, England. Ive grown up a lot, too. Its very competitive. Too often, that competition turns vindictive. I dont like that. I think I can have what I want and that I can do it the right way. Im stubborn as a mule. Our Miss January 1983 was shy and reserved as a little girl, but that quickly changed when her nomadic parents decided to move several times around Canada. Lonny and her multicultural familyher father is Chinese and Jamaican and her mother is a mix of Welsh and Swedishtook a boat from England to Quebec where they didnt fare too well. The entire family was seasick, says the all-natural brunette. Eventually, the Chin family found themselves in Vancouver and they knew they were home. Its so much faster in the United States, claims Lonny. Girls here at 18 are like girls of 25 in Canada. Canadian women are innocent compared with those in the US. Thats not good or bad; its just different. And different was just what we needed on the pages of Playboylucky for us, Lonny couldnt have agreed more. I was lucky enough to be chosen as the first video Playmate on both the cassette and the disc versions that will be sold all over the world, explains our voluptuous Miss January 1983. We did some filming in the studio and a lot in Vancouver, especially in the store where I used to work. It was fun and a good way of letting people get to know me as a person. Playboy fans just loved getting to know Lonnyher sweet personality, her all-natural figure and especially, her curious mind. All my teachers used to say, Lonny is a smart girl, but she spends too much time daydreaming. I think about life and about people. Why is an important word in my vocabulary, says Miss Chin. Another person can sit down and read a book for three hours; I can sit down and think for three hours. Right now, I dream about being a star. I want to be one. Judging from her Playboy photoshoots, Lonny Chin is well on her way.
