"I definitely haven't gotten straight As in school," Adam Diaz, a senior
at the Art Institute of Colorado, told us with a chuckle. "But this is a
hundred times more important to me than having a perfect GPA."
Adam's winning entry, shot at a Denver loft with his friend Amben
imrnediately caught our attention. "There was obviously a rapport
between hirn and the model," said Chad Doering, Playboy.com's photo
editor. "He made her look confident, which is always a sign of a good
photographer The shoot didn't feel like it was produced -- itjust
looked like an intimate, private moment."
Adam visited Playboy's Chicago photo studios and spent a day with
Jenny Haase, one of Playboy.com's sexiest Cyber Girls (and a college
student herself). After a few minutes of prepping, Adam was ready to
roll -- and when he requested our two-story ladder to set up a shot
reminiscent of Marilyn Monroe's famous Centerfold, we knew he meant
business. "The aerial shots are some of my favorites," Jenny said after
taking a peek at the film. "They're fresh, but also a little retro. Ifeel
like he captured me in a sexy new way."
