When Tina auditioned for Playboy's October 1988 Girls of the Southwest Conference pictorial, she let the photographer know that she was interested in becoming a Playmate. "He said he'd put in a good word for me," Tina said, "but he couldn't promise anything." After being published in the coed pictorial, Tina worked toward a theater degree because she was attracted to the glamour of acting and couldn't stand nine-to-five jobs. When Playboy called on her to test for Playmate, Tina was ready. "I think Playmates are beautiful women that other women admire and men adore," she said. "I'm glad that I have a chance to pursue my goal."
