Playmate, Allie Leggett will teach you a thing or two about being yourself. A gorgeous blonde from small-town America — McCreary County, Kentucky to be exact — Allie never quite fit in, so at 19, after winning a pageant in her home state, she moved to Los Angeles. “I wasn’t your stereotypical pageant girl,” she assures us, “I moved to L.A. two months later. All my high school friends have babies and are married — that’s what you do in a small town,” she says. “I kind of broke the mold. I always had the mindset that I wanted to leave. Luckily, I found an out and ran with it.” Allie has been in California ever since, and it’s safe to say she’s definitely made herself a home away from home. A lover of her Californian life, it’s almost as if she were from there. “I’m definitely a beach girl,” says our Miss December 2017. “There’s something about salt water on your skin and salty hair. I feel sexy when I’m tan,” she laughs. Now a full-time model, Allie is proud to have Playboy under her belt and absolutely loves her profession for the spontaneity it entails. “The best thing about modeling is you never know what’s going to happen next,” she begins, “I just woke up one day and had a message: ‘Hey, do you want to go to Iceland to do this shoot?’ Absolutely incredible,” she says. “I never would have had the opportunity if I hadn’t stuck with it and thrown myself out there. Sometimes the best plans are no plans.” In fact, this value is something our lovely Playmate swears by — taking chances and being independent are really what makes her, her. “You have to put yourself out there. Take the risk, it’s usually worth it,” she says, “and if it’s not, you can still be proud of yourself for doing it.” If you haven't fallen already for the wise and totally stunning, Allie, make sure to check out her spread, right here on Playboy Plus!
