We’re pleased to welcome philanthropist, model, and adult content creator, Cami Strella to Playboy Plus. “Something people wouldn’t know about me at first glance? I’m Latina and Scottish,” says Cami of her background. “I was born in Alexandria, Virginia [but] I had a very cosmopolitan upbringing with having immigrant parents and a father who worked for the government [in] D.C.” Cami, like her father, has a strong passion for others. “I’m passionate about being a conscious creator that gives back to charity and causes I care about,” she begins. “I do everything I can to support veterans, especially those with TBIs and PTSD. Spreading awareness is what I am most passionate about as I’ve dealt with my fair share of loss and trauma.” We met Cami through her photographer, Madeline Northway, and it was the perfect match. “Honestly, being in Playboy has been a dream of mine since I can remember,” she says. “I am extremely humbled and grateful to be at a point in my life where I can truly embrace all facets of myself and my body, and now, I get to share that with the amazing Playboy community.” Cami mainly creates content at home, so being on set in Austin, Texas, was a nice change of pace. “There’s something different about having an all-female team,” she smiles. “That made the experience smoother, and I was able to be present and vulnerable almost immediately.” When she’s not working, Cami spends most of her time outside. “I’m a lot more introverted than people think,” she laughs. “As I grow, I’ve come to appreciate a slower pace of living. I love riding horses and hiking— I find that taking time to be outdoors is extremely invigorating.
