Miss July 2017, Dana Taylor is a go-getter — in life, profession, love and everything in between. A warm spirit by nature, the Chicago native moved to New York as soon as she could. “I moved right away,” she told us in her interview. “I graduated from high school early and the next day I jumped on an airplane. I think it was the day I turned 18. I was like, ‘I’m going there. Nobody is stopping me.’” Lucky for us, she did, and the rest is history. With beauty as breathtaking as is fathomable, Dana’s gorgeous looks bring us back to the days of supermodels and catwalks — in fact, she’s done quite a bit of this work during her time in New York. “I’m a doer,” she assures us again. “When I have a plan in place, I never back down.” These words ring true even when it comes to guys she’s interested in. “I’m outgoing, so when I meet a guy, he has to be able to keep up with me,” she tells us bluntly. “If we can connect and he can go along with me that’s great!” But everything else is secondary to catching this lovely model’s eye — you have to win her over, especially on the internet, where you may find her. “You’d better have good lines in your Tinder profile,” she jokes. “If I’m going to swipe right, you have to catch my attention with something. Personality is number one.” When she’s not scouting guys on Tinder or in Whole Foods with her best friends, you can usually find her spending time in Chicago with her family, working or traveling. “Thailand is definitely on my radar,” she shares. “But I’m down for anything.
