Playmate, Fo Porter radiates realness. A genuine, intelligent and kind soul, this Phoenix, Arizona-born, Los Angeles-based model has been in the game since she was 19, and in doing so, has been empowering women with curves, just like her. “After five years, my natural womanly body started to emerge,” she says. “My body clearly wasn’t going back to where it had been at 19; I started to think, what next?” After getting her pilates certification as a backup plan, Fo was truly coming into herself. “More and more I started eating what I wanted, working out, and being healthy on my own terms. I truly started accepting who I was naturally,” she explains. “Luckily for me, around this time the industry started to change — we saw a plus-sized model on the cover of Vogue. This movement was a breath of fresh air for a lot of us models with curves of any size.” Grateful and positive, Fo wasn’t expecting to be asked to be our Miss April 2019. “Playboy came out of nowhere," she says. "Being a lifelong fan of the magazine, I knew the only answer was, ‘yes!’” Though Fo does relish in her success, she enjoys a quiet life when she’s not on the road modeling. “I’m always on the go, but I love taking time for myself,” she tells us. “My perfect day is waking up, opening a window to the elements and just having my husband, my dog, a glass of wine and a joint.” Want to get to know more about the stunning, Fo?
