Joy Corrigan is a small-town girl turned supermodel, and now, your February 2017 Playmate. Originally from Raleigh, North Carolina, and now based in Los Angeles, Joy worked hard to get to where she is today. “I grew up poor. I didn’t know drinking powdered milk and wearing hand-me-downs wasn’t the norm,” says Joy. “I never imaged how much my hard work and focus would one day pay off.” Down to earth, Joy thanks her roots for her attitude and positive outlook on life. “I grew up on a farm in North Carolina with six brothers and three sisters. I really don’t sweat the small stuff,” she laughs. “Having so many siblings has taught me to thrive in blissful chaos and just enjoy the ride!” When it comes to posing for Playboy, Joy wants the world to see how strong she is. “A woman today can be as strong as she feels,” shares Joy. “Seeing women around the world being respected and acknowledged for their hard work and for having strong opinions has given me the courage to reach more goals.
