Layla Balan comes to Playboy Plus from Ukraine. A full-time model, we first met Layla through her photographer, Henrik Pfeifer, and shot her pictorials in Berlin, Germany. “I am a person who has embarked on the path of their true destiny,” says Layla of herself. “[Through] working as a nude model, I realized my uniqueness, fell in love with my body, and believed in my strength.” Layla adores her day-to-day modeling. “My passion is my work,” she shares. It’s in front of the camera where Layla gets to tap into her creativity fully. “Sometimes, I go into a kind of trance,” she laughs. “When I pose, I play— I am totally committed to the process, so much so that I completely forget that this is my job!” Layla has always been an admirer of Playboy. “I thoroughly got acquainted with the magazine when I started nude modeling,” explains Layla, who told herself she would shoot for Playboy someday just days before we reached out. “When [Henrik] wrote me, I could not believe my eyes,” she smiles. “I am grateful for this unexpected but insanely pleasant surprise!” Make sure to check out Layla Balan’s pictorials right here on Playboy Plus.
