Chances are you already know of the legendary Lena The Plug, an adult content creator, star, YouTube sensation, and podcast host. We’re excited to welcome her to Playboy Plus as our December 2022 All Star! “I’m from Glendale, California, not far from the heart of Los Angeles,” shares Lena of her background. “I love my hometown because it’s rich with Armenian culture— something I didn’t appreciate until I moved out.” For Lena, who’s based in Los Angeles, it’s great to be able to return often. “I love being able to go back and eat at Armenian mom-and-pop spots and shop at the little Armenian delis!” After graduating college with a degree in psychology, Lena entered the adult industry through social media like Snapchat and Instagram. Now, Lena has utilized her platform to be unique to her passions, making her a one-of-a-kind adult performer. “I only got into this business because so many of my followers kept asking me if I had ‘premium’ content,” Lena told Forbes. “Now I use my social media platforms as marketing tools for my business and [as a way] to meet other creators to work with. I owe everything to the internet and these platforms.” Lena credits her success to her endless motivation. “I’m most proud that I’m a self-starter,” she says. “Most of my biggest accomplishments were [due to] my motivation to succeed.” Lena spends time with her partner and daughter when she’s not working. “I’m passionate about my business and motherhood,” she says. “I am constantly trying to balance both, which is the most challenging part of my life.” As for being a part of Playboy, we’re excited to collaborate. “The Playboy brand is the most iconic when it comes to selling sex,” begins Lena. “The brand is luxurious, sexy, and makes you feel good about the pursuit of pleasure.
