Liza Kei wants to leave a legacy — part of which is her time in Playboy. First gracing the Playboy cover in March 2013, this gorgeous model is thrilled to be back as our Miss August 2017. “When I was first asked, I said, ‘Are you calling the right number?’” she recalls, laughing. “After thinking about it, I decided I want my grandchildren to say Grandma was a Playboy cover girl.” Coming to Playboy Plus for Rostov-on-Don, Russia, this European Playmate is anything but boring. In fact, she used to be a ballet dancer before coming to the states. “The Russian ballerina is a classic cliche,” she jokes. “Second on the list after model!” Unsure if she would succeed at modeling at first, Liza discovered at the young age of 17. “Models always used to be super-tall divas,” she explains. “I’m more of a girl next door.” A lover of adventure, she has a deeply rooted wanderlust and is constantly traveling, though she has recently found a place to call home in New York City. “It’s a long road discovering a country,” she says thoughtfully. “New York is my comfort zone.” Though she’s found her happy place, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t miss home. “I have a great solution for when I’m missing Russia. It’s called Brighton Beach, Brooklyn,” she begins. “I love it. I have a little tradition: I go to this Russian cafe right on the beach and FaceTime with my mom. She kind of has lunch with me.” When she’s not modeling, Liza is a down to earth lady and enjoys the little things in life. “I love to cuddle. Who doesn’t?
