You can say Miranda was born for the stage and everything that comes with it. A model, burlesque performer, and costume designer from London, England, Miranda has been captivated by performance since she was a young girl. “I am a lifelong performer and freelance creative. I have never had a ‘normal’ day job,” shares Miranda. “I passionately believe that expressing my sexual identity through my performance, modeling and costuming work, [as well as] owning and monetizing my image is a feminist act.” Since she was a teen, Miranda trained in musical theater, dance, and design, only to stumble upon burlesque years later. Performing since the age of 17, it was only natural Miranda expanded her career into modeling. “When I first discovered burlesque in 2003, I remember scouring the Internet for anything retro and pinup inspired, and I instantly fell in love with the artwork of Olivia De Berardinis, whose work appeared in Playboy regularly,” shares Miranda. “I love how her pinups always look joyful and in control— that inspired my performance and modeling style a great deal.” Now based in Los Angeles, California, Miranda is proud to be working with the brand herself. “Playboy to me is synonymous with freedom,” says Miranda thoughtfully. “It is such an honor to have been chosen to be featured in Playboy; an absolute dream come true!” Make sure to check out her pictorials right here on Playboy Plus!
