Put your mind to it with Shantal Monique, our Cybergirl of the Month for May 2012. She’s petite – 5’4” – with long blonde hair, brown eyes and a mind of her own. “I’m going to be a pediatrician, no matter how long it takes,” she says. “People look at me and see a hot blonde, but there is so much more to me than that. I’m a very dedicated student. I thrive on late nights and maintaining my 4.0 GPA.” Based in Tempe, Arizona, Shantal got her start with Playboy as Cybergirl of the Week in November 2011, and true to the female form, became Cybergirl of the Month in May 2012. “I had wanted to be a Playboy model for as long as I could remember,” she says. “For me, Playboy is about female empowerment. I’m sensuous, adventurous and loving – why wouldn’t I want to be a Playboy model?” When she’s not at school or work, Shantal spends time at home – watching movies, reading, or playing board games with her friends. And when it comes to dating, she knows a thing or two about chemistry – and biology. “I’m very open-minded,” she says coyly. “Women think chivalry is dead, but I think it has evolved. I like men who are polite and respectful, but I don’t need the door opened for me. It’s not that big a deal.” Shantal talks nudity in public and private in her Facetime interview.
