Shasta Wonder will take your breath away. Beautiful, creative and multi-talented, Shasta hails from Kigali, Rwanda, but currently lives in New York City where she models and runs a clothing boutique. “I have been told that I’m photogenic,” she says. “I think any image or subject can be beautiful, intriguing and photogenic for the right concept [or] project,” she adds. “For this reason, I continue to strive to be a better model, to share more work that represents me as a person and to inspire others to appreciate the human body, starting with theirs.” When she’s not traveling and modeling, you can usually find Shasta in the kitchen making something tasty or creating African printed clothing for her company. “In my spare time, I sleep, cook and make clothes,” she tells us. “My passion is cooking!” When it comes to the company she keeps, Shasta loves a first date that is playful. “My perfect first date is an active date! Bar games, going out and doing something physical – maybe we get food after,” she says. When it comes to the type of person she’s drawn to, it’s someone who is confident and kind. “The most important qualities are manners, discipline, and style,” she says.
